Mayor Vanek runs in Boston Marathon

Colfax Mayor Todd Vanek clocked 4:03.52 Monday in the 116th running of the Boston Marathon. Vanek’s time was reported by Mayor Pro-Tem Al Vorderbrueggen who presided at Monday night’s city council session in the absence of the mayor.

Marathon winner Wesley Korir of Kenya clocked 2:12.40, which was 10 minutes slower than last year’s winner because the race was run in unseasonable sweltering conditions.
