Old Time plowing bee at Colfax

The 2012 Old Time Farming Days series is coming to Colfax Saturday and Sunday, April 21 & 22.

The “Plowing and Seeding Days” events began in Pomeroy April 7 & 8 followed by Odessa April 14 and 15.

The Colfax free event starts at 10 a.m. at Palouse Empire Fairgrounds on Highway 26. Antique equipment will be in action, including plows and drills, a threshing machine, derrick table, push header and steam engine.

A no-host lunch will be held at the fairgrounds community building. Food will be provided by Jenny Meyers of Endicott Food.
