Willson set CHS mark at Pasco

Colfax senior Morgan Willson placed second in the 3,200 meter run Saturday in the big Pasco Invitational with a time of 11:08.16. Maddie Meyers of Northwest School in Seattle won the race at 10:47.95.

Morgan also placed seventh in the elite miles event, a special Pasco feature which brings top runners to compete over the mile. She finished with a 5:04.5. Katie Knight of North Central in Spokane clocked 4:51.75 for the win in that race.

Coach Jason Cooper noted the mile time set a school record and the conversion to a 1600 time nets a personal best and record for that distance....
