Colfax Art banners will go up Sunday

The 2012 H’Art of the Palouse banner paintings will be hung Sunday by Colfax Arts Council members. Voting for the People’s Choice Award will begin on Monday when the “paint can” ballot containers are distributed around town, according to Debi Anderson, Arts Council president.

The fifth annual competition will feature 12 banner paintings, six of which are youth entries, the largest number of youth entries since the H’Art of the Palouse banner program started in 2008.
