Hannas, Mielke earn scholarships

Caleb Hannas of Hooper, right, and Miranda Mielke of Davenport, were recipients of the 17th annual Ken Troutt Memorial Scholarship at the annual WCA Bull Test Sale March 28 at Eltopia. The $450 scholarships were presented by Jerry York, left, sale representative for the scholarship fund, on behalf of the consignors, management and staff of the WCA Bull Test Sale. The scholarships are awarded each year to an enrolling college freshman from a family that has consigned or purchase bulls at this sale.
