Eagle girls place sixth in big Undeberg track meet

The SJE-LW girls placed sixth among 22 teams with 55 points Saturday in the Undeberg Invitational at Medial Lake High, and the Tekoa/Oakesdale/Rosalia girls place 12th with 27 points.

Eagle boys placed 17th with 10 points behind the 64-64 team tie pegged by Davenport the St. George’s.

Heather Siegel topped the Eagles with a win in the 3200 at 12:17.81. She also placed second int he 1600 with a 5:55.14.

Also placing for points for the Eagles were Rachel Gfeller, 7th in the 200 at 29.6, 8th in the 100 hurdles at 19.03, and third in the triple jump at 31-8. Shana Bailey, 8th in the 800 at 2:48.76...
