Eagles nudge Asotin at Pullman SE round

When it was over last Wednesday at Pullman, the SJE-LW track combo booked a five-point win over Asotin on the girls side of SE track competition. The Eagles girls took firsts in nine of the events with Heather Siegel winning both distance races and Rachel Gfeller taking the 200 sprint and the triple jump.

On the boys side, Asotin continued in the power seat with 162.5 points.

For the Eagles, Kaleb Simon booked wins in the long and triple jump events and Darcy Stamper cleared 6-2 for an eight-inch win in the high jump.
