Liberty Christain swept a doubleheader over TOR Saturday at Rosalia. The Pats won the opener 6-1 and the second game 17-1 in a five-inning shutdown.
Will Dedic held the Patriots to just three hits in taking the loss in the first game but the TOR offense sputtered. They trailed 1-4 after three frames and were shut out for the balance.
In the second game, the Pats charted 12 hits, and the Spartans were booked for six errors.
Liberty Christian also took two wins over the SJE-LW Eagles last Tuesday, April 10. The won the opener 11-1 with the Eagles tagging just two hits.
Score for the Pats’ win in the second game was 15-6 with the Eagles tagging three hits. Starting pitcher Darcy Stamper had two of the hits.
The TOR v. Colton boys game Tuesday was reset for April 26.
