Schmick reunion brings 66 to Colfax

The annual Schmick reunion was Easter weekend with 66 in attendance. Gatherings included a Friday dinner at Sol Vallarta, lunch Saturday at Eddy’s, an informal get-together at the Best Western meeting room and a memorial service for Loretta Hill at the Endicott cemetery.

A reunion dinner was at Hill Ray Plaza. Lorraine Beardemphl and Kirk Schmick chaired the event. At the program opening videos were shown in memory of cousins who died the past year, Loretta Hall and Mark Beardemphl. Background music on the viola was played by Brandon Schmick, a member of the Ferris High School orchestra.

Following the buffet, Kirk Schmick played the guitar and the activities program ended with the annual family trivia game.
