Palouse Discovery Science Center will be at Second Wednesday Club in the St. John Library May 9 for a hands-on, minds-on learning experience that promotes creative thinking, teamwork and problem-solving skills. Attendance limit is 24 students, age seven or older. To reserve a spot call or come in to the library, leave a message on our Facebook page or register on-line from the library calendar at http://www.whitco.lib.wa.us.
Former superintendent Dick Fike recently donated a collection of St. John Annuals to the library from his years at the school. They are a great addition to our local history collection. If you have an extra annual you would like to share, bring it by and Clancy will be happy to receive it. Duplicates will be donated to the St. John Historical Society.
Library hours are Monday 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesday 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Friday 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m.
