Faces 30-day sentance

Madison C. Heersink, 20, suspect in a Pullman assault case last December, was sentenced to 30 days in jail Friday after pleading guilty to an amended charge of attempted second degree assault. She was allowed the option of converting the sentence into 232 hours of public service work. She was also ordered to pay $1,078 in fines and fees.
