LaCrosse picks festival theme

Theme for the LaCrosse Farmer’s Festival will be “On the Move.” Kickoff will be Friday, June 15, with a spaghetti dinner at the Teapot Cafe. Saturday, June 16, 2012 there will be a breakfast at the Teapot Cafe and parade at 10:30.

Grand Marshalls of the parade will be all the volunteers who work with our youth in the community. There will be a barbecue at noon in the park and music by “Cross Country.”

Afternoon activities include the Community Pride ribbon cutting at the new store at 2 p.m. Mudfest, kids races, chalk art, money scramble and free swimming are among other activities.
