Students perform at Palouse Center

The Garfield Elementary students and Garfield-Palouse Middle School Marimba ensemble, directed by music teacher Rebecca Hemphill, performed for the senior dinner last Wednesday at the Palouse Community Center. The students presented a multicultural program consisting of music from Australia, Zimbabwe and Japan. All the songs were performed in their native language. The students also performed on an African Marimba, which was partially constructed by the Middle School choir students.
