Fourteen members were present Monday for the May meeting at the library. During April and May the club donated $5,435 in response to requests including $350 to the Junior Rodeo Association, $325 for emergency glasses and a trip to Spokane, $100 to the Palouse Harmony Chorus, $1,000 to Future Problem Solvers, $1,000 to FCCLA, $500 for the HIV Consortium, $265 for a scout campship, $500 for a trip to the Future Business Leaders of America Conference and $1,000 for swim pool ticket support.
The club also donated $300 to help fund a trip in June to the state Special Olymics for three locals who qualified last week at the meet in Cheney.
The June meeting date has been moved back to the third Monday because of a conflict of dates.
