Garden ready for planting

The LaCrosse Thrift Shop & Food Bank, Neighbors Helping Neighbors, now have their Community Garden site plowed thanks to Lynn Bruce. Gerald Wise has donated his land for the garden.

Wayne Miller, food bank manager, needs some help to get it planted and maintained. He is also looking for an assistant manager for the Food Bank.

The group will once again serve breakfast for the Farmers’ Festival.

Thrift Shop hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10 to 4 and the second Tuesday of the month, also from 10 to 4 to coincide with the Food Bank Pantry Day. The student of character assembly w...
