Final SE track qualifier starts today at Clarkston

Final chapters for the SE track campaign will go into the books at Clarkston High Thursday and Friday when the top qualifiers compete for state entry. Top eight out of the sub-districts last Wednesday at Martin Field in Walla Walla advanced to the district finals which begin today, Thursday, at 3 p.m.

The SE final offers state tickets to the top three finishers in girls events and just the top two in boys.

Action today at Clakrston will include the discus, javelin, long jump and pole vault for boys and girls. Running events will be the girls 4 X 200, 3200 and the 300m hurdles.
