Four lead Rosalia High class of 2012

Rosalia High School class of 2012 will be led by co-valedictorians and co-salutatorians. Kristin Paulson and Briann Maley have been named valedictorians. Kelsey Lindhag and Josie Daniels have been named salutatorians.

Kristin, daughter of Arlin and Cindy Paulson, earned a 3.95 grade average. She has been an active member in FFA, FBLA, High School Band, NHS and the Rosalia volleyball, basketball and softball teams. Kristin was also elected as Executive ASB President by her peers for two consecutive years. She plans to attend Washington State University to pursue a degree in business administration with an emphasis on accounting.

Briann, daughter of Brad and Kris Maley, graduates with a 3.99 grade average. She has been involved in FFA, FBLA, NHS, ASB, and numerous community activities. She has also served as class president during her junior and senior years. She played volleyball, basketball and softball. Briann plans to attend Whitworth University where she will study kinesiology and play basketball for the Pirates.

Kelsey, daughter of Dan and Velma Lindhag, earned a 3.75 grade average. She lettered all four years in cheerleading and was captain of the cheer squad this year. Kelsey was also the manager for the Rosalia High School volleyball team for three years. She was secretary for the National Honor Society for the last two years. She was voted for the Integrity award by the student body. Kelsey plans to attend Eastern Washington University and major in pre-veterinary medicine.

Josie, daughter of Mark and Colleen Daniels, will also graduate with a 3.75 grade point average. As a member of the Running Start program, she will also graduate from Spokane Falls Community College with an Associates of Arts degree. An active member of Girl Scouts, she earned her Gold Award by organizing a mock car crash. She was also involved in cheerleading. She plans to attend Eastern Washington University.
