Moser, Weber, Reidner top Colton class

Haley Marie Moser, daughter of Dan and Nora Moser, and Erin Faith Weber, daughter of Gregory and Cherri Weber, have been named co-valedictorians of the Colton High School class of 2012. Jacob Frank Riedner, son of Gary and Teri Riedner, has been named as salutatorian. Moser plans to study speech and hearing sciences at University of Washington. During her high school career, she was involved in National Honor Society, Science Olympiad, FFA, jazz band, volleyball, basketball and softball. She was a youth sports coach and referee and Spanish instructor/tutor. She also participated in Adopt-A-Troop, community history projects and Creative Art Camp.

Weber plans to study agricultural education at Washington State University after serving a year as a Washington State FFA Association officer. During her high school years she participated in ASB, FFA, National Honor Sociery, basketball and softball. She served as ASB president, Colton FFA president and Washington State FFA District VI president.

Riedner plans to attend the South Dakota School of Mines where he will study mechanical engineering. As a high school student he participated in football, basketball, baseball, FFA and National Honor Society.
