The 13th annual Rosalia High School Art Show, titled “Back to the Stone Age” this year, will feature artwork created throughout the year as part of Rosalia’s 2012 Battle Days Celebration.
Student art will include functional pottery, ceramic sculptures, paintings, drawings and photography. Other art exhibits include paintings and ceramic art by various local and Pacific-Northwest artists and a special new display from Herman Nebel Studio’s collection of vintage photographs of Bing Crosby at the Hayden Lake Country Club Golf Course. They were taken in 1949.
The show will be Saturday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, June 3, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Budding Rose Art Gallery on Whitman Ave.
Prize items are now being assembled for the raffle to benefit the Chamber of Commerce Texaco Station. Mike Day is at the station offering raffle tickets from 10 to 4. The prize drawing will be during Battle Days.
