Volunteer Gene Krell receives award

The late Gene Krell was given the Northeast Washington Association of School Administrators Community Award for his volunteer work at Tekoa. He ran the chains at home football games for 43 years, before his death in December. Gene’s daughter, Gayle Stickel accepted the certificate of appreciation on his behalf.
