Willson on the way to final win

Colfax senior Morgan Willson moves out to an early lead Saturday on her way to winning the 1600 meter race in the state 2B championships before a large crowd of track fans at EWU's Roos Field in Cheney. Elizabeth Weber of Northwest Christian-Lacey, running next to Willson at the start, finished 3.6 seconds behind the Colfax runner for second place. Morgan also won the 3,200 for Colfax Friday to defend her title from last year.
