Officers elected at the LaCrosse Community Pride board meeting were Scooter Lyle president, Tedd Nealy vice president in charge of fund raising, Randy Myklebust co-vice president in charge of public relations and Gary Wargo secretary. Plans for the upcoming store building dedication are being made. Sheet rock has been installed and the separate areas are taking shape.
Kristie Kirkpatrick and Peggy Bryan from the Whitman County library were guests and presented a “Friends of the Library” award to the LaCrosse Community Pride board of directors.
Sunday of Memorial Day weekend a large crowd of family members gathered at the home of Jeannine Larkin in Hay. After a potluck lunch the family buried the ashes of Aileen Henley at the Hay cemetery. Gary Henley said a prayer and led the group saying the Lord’s Prayer.
