Rollin’ around the Hot Rod show at Palouse

Members of the Rolling Hills Derby Dames check the sky for a break in the weather early Satruday for the start of the eighth annual Knuckle Scrapers hot rod gathering and barbecue at Palouse. The weather put a dent in the number of entries this year, but the event again drew enthusiasts from a wide area. The annual Knuckle Scrappers show features the work of car builders who produce unique hot rods and other cars at costs under the normal costs required to produce finished show cars. A derby dames demo and bands added to the Main Street event.
