The Whitman County Library Board meeting which was set for Tuesday, June 19 at 4 p.m. in the Colfax Library has been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 12. The meeting is open to the public and community members are welcome. For more information, contact Peggy Bryan at the library..

Colfax Library kick starts Summer Reading with professional juggler and comedian Curtis Carlyle Thursday, June 14 at 10:30 a.m. This program is free and sponsored by the Friends of Whitman County Library.

Cupcake Camp at the Colfax Library will be Monday, June 18 at 5:30 p.m. Cupcakes and frosting will be provided.

Colfax Chamber of Commerce will have their monthly community luncheon June 19 at noon in the Colfax Library’s Norma McGregor’s Community Room. Mayor Todd Vanek will share his vision for Colfax and Diana Frey from the Whitman County Gazette will speak about how to reach the community through advertising. Top Notch will cater lunch for $9 per person. To reserve a seat and a lunch, contact the library or Colfax Chamber by June 15.

Dads can bring in the kids for fun camp songs and stories with Kirk Schmick Wednesday, June 20 at 7 p.m. in the Colfax Library. Kids can wear pajamas and bring a blanket or teddy bear.
