Reaney Park in Pullman will be alive with the sound of music when the 2012 Concerts in the Park series begins next week.
Pullman Parks and Recreation has lined up six weeks of different musical entertainment for concerts every Wednesday. Each concert will also have food for sale from different vendors.
The food vendors will begin selling at 5:30 in the afternoon. The concerts, which are free, will begin at 6 and last until 7:30 p.m.
The first concert will be July 11 when the Palouse Community Concert Band performs marching songs and German tunes. Subway will be selling their footlongs at this first concert.
Country group Bare Wires will perform July 18 and Taco Del Mar will be the food vendor.
Soulstice, another rock blues and country band, and University Catering are slated July 25.
Lukenbill-Faller will perform classic rock Aug. 1 and Domino’s will offer pizza.
Also booked are The Senders with Porky’s Pit Barbecue Aug. 8, and the Snake River Six with Heros ‘n Sports Aug. 15.
