Serving Whitman County since 1877
WSU Raptor Club members will bring birds of prey for a program at the Colfax Library Thursday, July 12, at 10:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to the free, family program sponsored by the Friends of Whitman County Library.
The club is a non-profit volunteer organization founded in 1981 with the purpose of educating the public about the conservation of raptors.
Special permits allow the club to take birds to a great variety of audiences such as libraries, schools, service organizations, etc., for educational purposes. This allows the club to spare the lives of the birds and familiarize the public with living representatives of various raptor species.
