Nancy Strain of Moscow walked away uninjured when her motor home caught fire while driving on Colfax Airport Road.
Strain said she saw smoke begin to billow out of the motor home’s center console and decided to bail out with her dog just before it was engulfed in flames.
Fire crews from Colfax, Dusty and Diamond responded to the blaze.
Another motor home was destroyed by fire Monday night in a field along Highway 26 in the LaCrosse area.
The 1995 Damon Intruder is believed to have been taken from the Pullman area the previous night.
Sheriff Brett Myers said the motor home had been pulled off the highway along a frontage road.
They are investigating the case as a possible arson.
The Intruder was destroyed in the blaze.
