Scaroni will race in London games

Susannah Scaroni, Tekoa High School grad who placed fifth in the Boston Marathon wheelchair race, has qualified for the paralympics in London in September. Scaroni, who returned to her home area in May and placed second in the Bloomsday wheelchair race, competes for the University of Illinois racing team.

A member of the 2009 class at Tekoa, she was raised in Tekoa and rolled up a series of wheelchair wins in WIAA competition for the Nighthawks.
