Top FFA award goes to the GP grads

Blake Slocum, Chad Redman and JB Lange, left to right, were recent recipients of their FFA American Degrees. This is the highest achievement recognized by the National FFA Organization. Less than one-half of one percent of all FFA members earn this achievement. Only 39 American Degrees were awarded in Washington this year. The three Garfield-Palouse chapter members graduated with the 2011 class. They are enrolled in colleges in Washington, California and Oregon. Their advisor is Buddy Carter.
