Irma Kent was enjoying a less hectic day, likely the last day of harvest at the Benge elevator, where she operates the scales. It is a nice breather before diving into the school year, full steam ahead. Lots of people have ideas for people who should be interviewed for the recipe column, but not many grain elevator workers call the Gazette to recommend a good cook who brings cookies to the elevator.
