Colfax XC team starts at NWC

Colfax cross country team Tuesday competed in the Northwest Christian Jamboree. Crusader hosts watered down a section of the course for a mud bog to mix in the hills on the one-mile course.

Junior Jackson Elfers led the Bulldogs with a time of 13:36 over the two-mile race, which requires two laps. Two other runners for the Bulldogs this year are Brock Morgan, a senior, and Tim Cornelius, a freshman.

Colfax junior high runners competed in a one lapper. Members of the junior high XC team are Zach Williams, Austin Neu, Logan Gingerich, Gage Holman, Doug Wilson, Lauren Claassen, Emora Roberson and Rebekah Huber.

Next stop for the Bulldogs will be Saturday at the Asotin Invitational at Chief Timothy Park. They will be back at NWC next Tuesday for a league meet.
