Holly Leendertsen wins fair crown

Holly Jane Leendertsen of Palouse, center, was named Miss Palouse Empire Fair for 2013 at the end of Friday night’s competition in the Community Building at the fairground. She is the daughter of John and Shirley Leendertsen. Colfax entrant Deanna Aeschliman, right, was named first runner-up, and Madalynne St. John of Rosalia, left was named second runner-up.
