LCP store project nears completion

LaCrosse Community Pride has interviewed potential store operators who are serious about operating the grocery store and report they are getting close to making a selection. It is possible that the store could be open by late fall which is the board’s intent.

The contractor has been given the go ahead to finish the interior store building with a goal of having the work substantially complete by Dec. 1.

Two grant applications have been made recently to help fund continued work on the store, and LCP continues to accept donations to assist with flooring and other portions of the work.

Selbu Women’s annual bake sale will be Friday, Sept. 28, at the Teapot Cafe in LaCrosse starting at 9:15 a.m.
