Growers settle Bluegrass seed lawsuit; jury will decide in Scotts-Seeds dispute

Growers in the two-year-old Kentucky Bluegrass seeds suit have negotiated a settlement with the Scotts Co., but a month-long trial in the suit remains on the court docket with a start set for Monday. Scotts Co. and Seeds, Inc., Tekoa, two of the defendants listed in the original suit, are expected to continue their dispute in the giant civil suit which to date has involved two partial summary judgments totaling in the $10 million range.
