Brinks transport bowling entrants to tournament

Larry and Di Brink chauffeured Mike Stine and Norma Gibson of LaCrosse to Spokane Sunday to participate in a bowling tournament at Lilac Lanes. Both participants earned gold medals. Later, they met with the Brinks’ son and daughter-in-law, John and Brandy Brink, and celebrated with dinner at a restaurant.

Ken Brink of Bellingham, Dusty native, died Sunday. He was the last surviving child of Otto and Gussie Brink, pioneer settlers in the Dusty area. Joan Myrick and Larry Brink, local residents, are his niece and nephew.

Linda Hennigar was in the Tri-Cities a couple of weekends ago. She spent from Thursday to Sunday at the home of her daughter’s family, Tami, Jay and Wesley Banks and Sunday to Monday at the home of Ron and Linda Hiskey.

Kim, Cindy and Carrie Pitts were in Boise from Friday to Sunday at the home of Jen and Ryan Hammons and children Kellen, Becket and Willa. They helped Willa celebrate her third birthday.

David Stueckle is recovering at home after undergoing cataract surgery in Colfax Monday.
