Colfax school board prepares to meet new goal standards

In a work session Monday night, the Colfax School District board discussed its task of setting goals for next year, and following years, which will be affected by the coming change to national Common Core standards.

Another recent change, one in effect now, is the Washington State School Directors Association (WSSDA) standards which direct boards to adopt specific goals.

It’s all part of the Colfax board going through a strategic planning process, as required by WSSDA.
