GP sophomore to be featured artist

Sophomore Sarah Bailey of Garfield/Palouse High School will be featured for “Meet the Artist” at Palouse Library tonight, Thursday, Nov. 29.

This will be the first public showing of her photographs. The event will be an open house from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Bailey’s inclination toward filming and photography took hold during family walks in the woods when she was nine years old. At age 10, she made videos of herself and her friends experimenting as actors. She has continued to take pictures and create films of nature, friends and family.
