County library calendar

Thursday, Dec. 6 Palouse – 4:30 p.m. – Judi Gray and “less stuff Christmas” – Craft ornaments from jigsaw puzzle pieces, along with simple ideas for children to make using items found around the house.

Friday, Dec 7 Colfax & Tekoa – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Play & Learn – Creative play and sharing for preschoolers and parents every Friday.

Saturday, Dec. 8 Albion – 2 p.m. – Storytime and Craft – Fun stories and craft projects every Saturday.

Monday, Dec 10 Garfield – 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. – Teen Lid Craft – Teens are invited to make simple tin lid ornaments. LaCrosse – 5:30 p.m. – Family Holiday Fun Night – Make holiday ornaments for the library’s Christmas tree.

Tuesday, Dec. 11 Farmington & Malden – Storytime – Fun stories, finger plays, rhymes, songs and crafts every Tuesday. Check the calendar for times and themes.

Wednesday, Dec. 12 Garfield – 6 to 8 p.m. – Cookies in a Jar – Grab your mason jars and come have fun! Learn how to etch glass and personalized your jar with baking ingredients. This class will have a $5 charge fee. Tekoa – 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. – Teen’s Only Night – Play with the Wii for ages 12-18.

Thursday, Dec. 13 Malden – 4 p.m. – Teen Gingerbread House Party – The old tradition of gingerbread house making, but with a twist! For grades 5 and up. Farmington – 7 p.m. – Ladies Night Out – Enjoy a night with crafts and yummy treats.
