Obituary - Ruth M. Daman

Funeral services for Ruth M. Daman, 90, were Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Tensed Community Church.

Dr. Glenn Daman and Pastor Tom Owen officiated.

Mrs. Daman died Dec. 10 at her home near DeSmet.

Born June 1, 1922, at Appleton, Wis., to John and Mary Wood Goodrick, she grew up at Appleton and attended Westmont College and Milwaukee Teachers College where she received her teaching degree in 1944. She then attended St. Paul Bible College and received a degree in Bible Studies.

She came to Tensed in 1952 as a missionary and met Ora Wayne Daman who farmed in the area. They were married July 18, 1953,...
