Changes at the Gazette

On Friday, Dec. 28, Whitman County Gazette Editor Jerry Jones was taken by ambulance to Whitman Hospital and Medical Center and then transferred to a Spokane hospital after suffering what physicians are calling a mild stroke.

Jones was at the county courthouse doing his daily rounds for the Bulletin when courthouse personnel noticed he needed assistance. They called emergency crews who took him to the hospital where he was evaluated. Doctors there determined he should be taken to Spokane.
