LaCrosse cafe set to open first of March

The Grillbilly Cafe is set to open, replacing The Teapot Cafe.

Lois Startin, member of LaCrosse Community Pride, said the Pride board chose Dionne Evans of Hay to operate the cafe.

Evans will operate the restaurant as the Grillbilly Cafe and is refurbishing the restaurant to accommodate the new venture. Tentative opening date for the cafe is March 1.

The board interviewed two qualified applicants and chose Evans.
