The Colton girls traveled to Kamiah Friday night to see their win streak end at 37 games in a 43-34 loss.
Kamiah (10-2) took a lead in the first quarter and held it to the end. The game was played in Idaho so there was no shot clock, which Kamiah used to slow the pace on the up-tempo wildcats.
Colton’s Jenna Moser scored her only two field goals in the first quarter. Guarding her most of the night was Beatriz Pineda, the free defender in Kamiah’s box-and-one.
The loss dropped the Wildcats to 7-1 on the season.
