Colton junior Jake Straughan scored 18 points in the third quarter against Kamiah Friday on the way to a career-high 42 points in a 65-60 comeback win for Colton.
The Wildcats trailed by 21 points in the first quarter of the non-league game before cuttting the deficit to 12 at halftime.
In the third, Colton outscored Kamiah 27-8 as Straughan had 18 points to go with Dalton Patchen’s nine.
Patchen finished with 16 points and 15 rebounds while Straughan had six assists and five rebounds. Colton’s Dillon Frank sealed the victory with two free throws with 12 seconds remaining.
