Bulldog flags wave on Main

Bright blue Colfax Bulldog flags appeared on Main Street light poles last week.

The flags were donated by the Colfax School Foundation to be hung on Main Street, according to Steve Larkin, foundation board member.

The flags are a foundation fund raiser and are for sale for $15 at the school district office, Top Notch and L&M Signs. Larkin said the foundation primarily funds scholarships.

“I tell everyone the flags capitalize on the downtown flag controversy,” Larkin said with a laugh. “Of the various controversies that are possible, it could be worse.”
