The Colfax girls completed their first half of league play with a 55-21 win over Liberty Tuesday night at home.

In a game played without junior post Taylor Larsen, who sprained an ankle off the court over the weekend, Nicole Scheer led the Bulldogs with 14 points and eight rebounds while Amelie Bruya had 13 points and five steals. Amara Huber added four points and eight rebounds while Kori Goodwin scored four points and had four assists.
"The kids played really aggressive tonight," said Colfax Coach Corey Baerlocher, noting his team forced 32 Liberty turnovers.
The game began with a 13-0 lead for Colfax before the Bulldogs fouled a Liberty shooter on a three-point attempt. She made two of three to put the Lancers on the scoreboard.
At halftime, Colfax led 31-10.
In the second half, Colfax reserves came into the game.
"We got a lot of playing time for a lot of kids," said Baerlocher. Every player on the Colfax team scored in the game.
The Bulldogs (11-2, 5-1 league) will play next at St. George’s Friday night in Spokane.
Colfax 66, Springdale 32
The Colfax girls improved to 10-2 overall (5-1 league) as Taylor Larson finished with 26 points and 13 rebounds in a win over Springdale last Friday night, Jan. 4. Nicole Sheer added 14 points and 10 rebounds.
