Hunt named mayor pro tem again

For a third time, Garfield City Councilman Larry Hunt has been named mayor pro tem.

In a Jan. 9 council meeting, Mayor Jarrod Pfaff opened the floor for nominations. Councilman Daymon Marple nominated Hunt for the position, and Hunt indicated that he was willing to continue in the role. Councilwoman Sharon Schnebly seconded the motion and it carried unanimously, appointing Hunt to another term as mayor pro tem.
