Local Realtors have positive outlook for this year’s markets

Butch Booker, broker and owner of Kincaid Real Estate in Colfax, said real estate sales remain good in Whitman County, especially for good farmland which seems to be in demand.

“In general, Whitman County and Colfax is a snapshot of what’s going on nationwide,” he said. “It just takes a little longer to catch up.”

“I consider business pretty good because other areas aren’t doing so well,” said Carmen Bruya of Team Washington Real Estate in Colfax.

She said last year wasn’t a “top year, but prices are fairly stable.”
