Rosalia picked up wins over Colton and Touchet last weekend to increase their record to 8-6 overall, 6-4 in league.
“We’ve been getting guys back from injury so for us it’s a little hard to tell where we are,” said Spartans Coach Pat Brown.
Junior Ryan Maley has been back for five games now, joining the team after waiting for a hand injury from football season to heal. Josh Roe is expected to be back for this weekend’s games after a concussion, while several other players are recovering from additional injuries.
“We’ve been having some problems with some ankles,” said Brown. “But we’re hoping to be 100 percent this weekend.”
The Spartans will have back-to-back big games, beginning at LaCrosse-Washtucna Friday followed by a home game against Pomeroy Saturday.
“I think in this league every game is an assignment this year,” said Brown.
