Frost and sunlight

Night time fog, low temperatures and morning sunshine combine to set up these shots taken by Bill Carroll of Colfax. Carroll said he included the pedestrian sign because of the irony of it as it is located on a gravel road.

“This is not a crossing sign because the other side of the road is only a field with no turn-out,” he stated. “Maybe it advises that if you get stuck, get out and walk.”

Carroll also noted the tree is a Geo-Cache location, so perhaps the sign is to tell people to walk to the site....
