The final two weeks of the 1B boys race figures to be a scramble with four of five teams still within range of the top spots. Garfield-Palouse booked two big wins over the weekend to land on top of the league.
The Vikings Saturday posted a strong win over the L/W Tigercats to advance their league mark to 10-2. The home win followed a three-point margin posted over Touchet’s in the Indians’ court in the Friday night round.
Pomeroy, which escaped Rosalia Saturday with a 58-52 win in overtime, and L/W are one win behind the Vikings in the current standings.
